Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs frequently
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and minor pet-related accidents
  • Must be a people-person and a pet-person
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multitask on phone and computer systems
  • Maintain professionalism in stressful situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred minimum one year customer service experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills across phone, in-person, and email
  • Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and computer software
  • Cool under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated professionalism and patience in customer interactions

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs
  • Answering phones with a smile and multitasking
  • Touring new clients through the facility and selling services
  • Ensuring up-to-date vaccinations are on file
  • Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently with a personal touch
  • Handling cash, cards, and balancing the end-of-day cash drawer
  • Responding to complaints with patience and professionalism
  • Escorting pet guests to and from their enclosures safely
  • Keeping the lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for client arrivals
  • Supporting other team members as needed
