Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and manage leashes for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair and occasional pet accidents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills in phone, in-person and email interactions
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple phone lines and computer systems
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Passion for pets and customer service

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their pets warmly and professionally
  • Answering multi-line phones with a friendly and efficient manner
  • Touring new clients through the facility and promoting services
  • Ensuring all pet vaccinations are up to date
  • Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handling cash, card payments and balancing cash drawers
  • Responding to customer complaints with patience and professionalism
