Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs frequently
  • Can lift up to 40 lbs including pet crates and supplies
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and occasional messes
  • Must be a people-person with a passion for pets
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail
  • Must maintain professionalism during busy or stressful situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Comfortable using phone systems and computer software
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with pets or a pet-friendly attitude

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their VIP pets with warm professionalism
  • Answering multi-line phones and managing inquiries efficiently
  • Touring new clients to explain services and promote offerings
  • Ensuring vaccination records are current and compliant with health protocols
  • Managing check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and friendly customer engagement
  • Handling cash and card transactions and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
  • Addressing customer complaints with patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills
  • Escorting pets safely to and from their enclosures
  • Maintaining a clean and inviting lobby environment
  • Supporting team members with various tasks as needed
