Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in retail sales preferred
- Ability to accurately operate a variety of equipment including cash registers scanners and beverage dispensers
- Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations preferred
- Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions
- Ability to work in described temperature and physical conditions

Job Duties
- Provide prompt excellent customer service in a courteous friendly and attentive manner
- Greet customers as they enter the area and thank customers as they leave
- Assist customers and offer suggestions or recommendations
- Ring up all sales on cash register accurately handling money checks and other payments
- Operate multi-function equipment including fuel console lottery machines money order machine and telecom transactions
- Maintain store cleanliness and perform housekeeping duties inside and out
- Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety cleanliness and proper working order
- Notify Store Manager of any equipment failure or maintenance needs
- Complete build-to’s for ordering purchasing merchandise
- Receive and verify vendor deliveries
- Maintain adequate stock and rotate stock properly
- Place advertising and pricing signage inside or outside the store
- Control merchandise cash shortages and selling expenses
- Assist in inventory levels and shift audits
- Keep accurate cash sales and inventory control records
- Notify Store Manager of any discrepancies
- Follow guidelines for product breakage or spoilage
- Report all incidents including injuries theft property damage or sanitation issues
- Report unsafe unlawful or unethical conduct
- Keep accurate records of shift and timekeeping paperwork
- Take inventory of supplies and equipment
- Attend job-related meetings as required
- Provide regular onsite attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
