Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one or more years customer service experience preferred
- ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
- capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- comfortable with exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and minor accidents
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year customer service experience preferred
- excellent communication skills across phone, in-person, and email
- ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
- experience with multi-line phone systems and computer applications
- professionalism in handling customer interactions
- strong problem-solving skills
- passion for working with pets and people
Job Duties
- Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs with warmth and professionalism
- answering phones with a cheerful and multi-tasking approach
- touring new clients through the facility and promoting services
- ensuring up-to-date pet vaccinations are filed for safety
- managing pet check-ins and check-outs efficiently with a personal touch
- handling cash, card payments, and end-of-day cash drawer balancing
- responding to customer complaints calmly and professionally
- escorting pets to and from their enclosures carefully
- maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby environment
- supporting team members whenever additional help is needed
