Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of customer service experience preferred
  • ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to be exposed to cleaning supplies and pet-related environments
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • excellent communication skills across phone, in-person, and email
  • ability to manage multi-line phone systems and computer software

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs with warmth and professionalism
  • answering phones and managing multiple lines efficiently
  • touring new clients through the facility and promoting services
  • ensuring vaccination records are accurate and up to date
  • managing check-ins and check-outs with attention to detail
  • handling cash and card payments and balancing cash drawers
  • responding to complaints with patience and professionalism
  • escorting pets safely to and from enclosures
  • keeping the lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for visitors
  • supporting other team members as needed
