Job Requirements
- Current and valid drivers license
- Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others
- Ability to comply with local/state health code requirements for food service and sales
- Meet local/state minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol where applicable
- Ability to complete all required trainings and certifications
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Ability to work weekends, extended hours, overtime, and holidays as scheduled
- Must be able to speak and understand English fluently
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging with a positive attitude
- No experience required but customer service, retail or sales experience is preferred
- Ability to complete required training and certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and operate data entry devices
Job Duties
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to create a pleasant experience for customers
- Pro-actively greet customers entering the convenience store, pay terminal area, or fuel pumps and be responsive to their needs
- Effectively present and sell car wash services, Clean Car Club memberships, and additional retail merchandise to achieve sales goals
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment including gas pump islands, payment terminals, store counters, merchandise displays, restrooms, and waiting areas
- Keep convenience store merchandise stocked and organized and take inventory as directed
- Maintain point-of-sale transaction accuracy and use transaction technology effectively
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and instructions
- Perform administrative tasks such as making bank deposits and delivering supplies
- Carry out various transactional functions and other duties as assigned by management
