Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to handle exposure to cleaning supplies and pet-related environments
  • Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person
  • Comfortable handling multi-line phone systems and computer software
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Passion for animals and people

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their pets with exceptional customer service
  • Answering phones efficiently and handling multiple tasks
  • Touring new clients and promoting services
  • Ensuring all pets have up-to-date vaccinations on file
  • Managing check-ins and check-outs with personalized attention
  • Handling cash and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day
  • Responding to customer complaints with professionalism
  • Escorting pets safely to and from enclosures
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby area
  • Supporting team members as needed
