Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently during shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to handle exposure to cleaning supplies, pet hair, and occasional messes
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to handle cash and balance registers accurately

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills in-person, phone, and email
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multi-line phone systems
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
  • Genuine love for pets and people
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering phones with a cheerful tone and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Touring new clients through the facility and promoting services offered
  • Ensuring all pets have up-to-date vaccinations on file
  • Managing check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and care
  • Handling cash and card transactions and reconciling cash drawer at the end of the day
  • Responding to customer complaints with patience and professionalism
  • Escorting pets to and from their enclosures safely
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby environment
  • Supporting team members with various tasks as needed
