Job Requirements

  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs frequently
  • capability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • willingness to work in an environment with pet hair, cleaning supplies, and animal related ‘‘accidents’’
  • people-person with genuine affection for pets
  • strong communication skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of customer service experience preferred

  • strong communication skills across phone, in-person, and email
  • ability to multi-task and manage multi-line phones and computer systems
  • calm and professional demeanor under pressure
  • ability to solve problems quickly and effectively
  • experience in retail or customer service environments

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs with warmth and professionalism
  • answering phones with a friendly and efficient demeanor
  • touring new clients through the facility and promoting services
  • managing check-ins and check-outs with attentiveness and care
  • handling cash, cards, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day
  • responding to customer complaints with patience and professionalism
  • maintaining a clean and inviting lobby environment
  • supporting team members as needed
