Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- standing for most tasks
- able to cope with varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks
- able to work in temperature ranges from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas
- able to handle exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust
- able to work in cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
- able to safely handle hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher
- able to work with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
- ability to talk and hear on telephone
- near and mid-range vision
- depth perception
- ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- able to work under stress and meet strict quality control standards
- ability to lift and carry cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and squat as part of job duties
- able to reach continuously up, down and forward
- good eye-hand coordination
- able to manipulate pizza peel, pizza cutter and pizza boxes
- able to use computers, telephones, calculators, and other equipment
- able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly
- ability to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- stock ingredients from delivery to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- prepare product
- receive and process telephone orders
- take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- clean equipment and facility approximately daily
