Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the freight forwarding industry for both international and domestic
- Basic knowledge of sales
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Proficient in PC skills
- Ability to use basic math skills
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally

- Ability to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage, duty and other charges
Job Duties
- Perform customer service duties with correspondence to customers and overseas partners, e-mails fax, etc
- Provide customers with shipping information, inbound/outbound transaction and inventory status information
- Conduct telephone sales to prospective customers
- Update airline rates for sales department files
- Set up and maintain customer files and profiles
- Update inventory data, rate files, and create reports
- Update statement data and issue invoices for customers in a timely manner
- Contact customers following sales and activities to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
- Contact customers who have not shipped regularly to determine shipping status
- Assist operation staff with correspondence e-mails, faxes, etc
- Perform other duties as requested
