Job Requirements
- Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and extended hours
- Ability to stand for long periods in a confined space
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- High energy level to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash and operate equipment safely
- Must be able to learn multiple responsibilities quickly including safety, cash handling, ABC compliance, and food preparation
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Experience in fast-paced retail or food service environment beneficial
Job Duties
- Greet customer with a smile, eye contact, and hello
- Build customer loyalty
- Up sell and meet customers needs
- End customer transaction with a thank you, come again
- Respond to emergency situations and perform duties as per Hazard Communications Kit and Injury/Illness Prevention Manual
- Clean facility and equipment during shifts including restrooms, pump islands, car wash areas, driveways, ovens, counters, and utensils using Process Cards
- Collect payment from customers via cash or debit and encourage additional purchases
- Interact positively with the public and resolve basic customer service issues using tact and judgment
- Communicate effectively both face to face and on the phone
- Prepare fast food for sale following recipes and minimizing waste
- Adhere to company standards regarding sanitation, refrigeration, and cooking
- Manage all cash, merchandising, and equipment during shift
- Instruct customers on self-serve equipment use as needed
- Prepare reports to account for all funds and products sold
- Take inventory and balance money and reports per company policy
- Operate and maintain facility equipment safely including air machines, vacuums, car wash, and convenience store equipment
- Stock shelves including walk-ins
- Maintain accurate time records
- Maintain assigned PRIDE areas
