Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to commute to Manchester, NH 03104
  • Willingness to work in a moderate risk environment with safety precautions
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting at least 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in-person

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to operate smartphone technology for rental management
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to safely move and inspect equipment
  • Willingness to participate in training and certification programs
  • Ability to work effectively both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services
  • Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels
  • Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring
  • Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
  • Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
  • Perform other duties as assigned
