Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 18 years of age
  • ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
  • able to lift up to 70 pounds
  • willingness to work all shifts including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours
  • valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • pass 10-year Criminal History Records Check
  • pass drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • experience in customer service or airline operations preferred
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • proficiency with computerized passenger tracking systems
  • aptitude for working independently and as part of a team
  • basic mechanical skills for Jetway operation

Job Duties

  • assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation
  • monitor computerized systems to track passenger progress
  • provide assistance to passengers with special needs including wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • make changes to flight itineraries and seating arrangements as needed
  • safely operate Jetway equipment and ensure secure boarding area
  • communicate clearly with passengers and team members
  • uphold Piedmont Airlines' service standards and safety policies
