Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum age of 18 years
- ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- successful completion of background check including 10-year criminal history records check
- drug screening
- ability to assist passengers with disabilities including pushing wheelchairs
- willingness to work in an airport ramp environment with varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of Gate Agent training course
- effective communication skills
- ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
- previous airline experience preferred
- previous employment as a frontline customer service provider preferred
- basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred
Job Duties
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- monitor computerized passenger boarding
- assist customers with special needs including arranging wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
- change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
- operate the Jetway
- work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
