Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum age of 18 years
  • ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • successful completion of background check including 10-year criminal history records check
  • drug screening
  • ability to assist passengers with disabilities including pushing wheelchairs
  • willingness to work in an airport ramp environment with varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Gate Agent training course
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
  • ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
  • previous airline experience preferred
  • previous employment as a frontline customer service provider preferred
  • basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
  • monitor computerized passenger boarding
  • assist customers with special needs including arranging wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • operate the Jetway
  • work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
