Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Successful completion of 10-year criminal history records check
  • Drug screening as required
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Gate Agent training course
  • Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
  • Previous airline experience preferred
  • Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
  • Monitor computerized passenger boarding
  • Assist customers with special needs including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • Operate the Jetway
  • Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
