Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate or relevant work experience
- bilingual English/Japanese
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- patience in handling complex processes
- strong analytical skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, some college desirable
- bilingual in English and Japanese
- strong teamwork skills
- good communication skills including listening and feedback
- strong quantitative and analytical skills
- proficient computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- patience and ability to manage complex approval processes
- significant relevant work experience acceptable if education requirements not met
Job Duties
- Provide customer service including forwarding, delivery details, processing orders, handling complaints, act as assistant to sales staff as needed
- respond to customer inquiries and conduct research
- support business operations including bookings, on board tracking with carriers, maintaining work profiles and rates
- communicate with internal and external sources to secure information
- make bookings with carriers and advise clients about flight information
- update and maintain profiles and rates according to management updates
- handle other assigned job tasks as determined by supervisor
- communicate fluently in English and Japanese
