Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Experience with computerized POS system
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for sewing and using POS terminals
- Ability to lift and or move up to 10 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow dress code policy
- Physical ability to perform duties including bending, twisting and climbing stairs

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
- Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs and Be There for all customers
- Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to the store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service
- Proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
- Effectively communicate the importance of alterations in perfecting dresses
- Promote all alterations services and personalization options
- Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization and promotional readiness
- Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments
- Press, steam and spot clean all merchandise
- Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all altered garments before final delivery
- Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups
- Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
- Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
- Maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room
- Perform duties as assigned by store management
