Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
  • ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
  • must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
  • meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Job Duties

  • assist customers with questions and recommendations
  • manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
  • maintain security of cash and protect company assets
  • keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
  • receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
  • ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
  • responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
  • other duties as assigned
