Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience in retail or related environment preferred
- ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
- ability to meet demands of frequent walking standing stooping kneeling climbing pushing pulling and repetitive lifting
- excellent customer service skills
- strong organizational and communication skills
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- previous customer service experience in retail hotel restaurant grocery or drug store environment is highly preferred
- ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
- excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
- strong organizational and communication skills are required
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
Job Duties
- Assist customers with questions and recommendations
- manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
- maintain security of cash and protect company assets
- keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
- receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks
- ensure a positive safe and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions
- maintain cleanliness throughout the store including cleaning and restocking bathrooms sweeping and mopping floors taking out the trash and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
