Job Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments including cold temperatures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be at least 19 years old to sell tobacco and 21 to sell alcohol
Job Duties
- Make customers smile by greeting, assisting, and handling purchases with a positive attitude
- Stay up to date on store promotions and product information
- Efficiently operate cash registers and point-of-sale equipment according to company procedures
- Clean and organize the store, restrooms, and outdoor areas including snow and ice removal
- Operate, clean, and maintain food service equipment to ensure freshness and safety
- Restock shelves, manage coolers and freezers, rotate products, and maintain product placement
- Follow safety and security policies, manage age-restricted sales, and monitor for suspicious activities
- Train new hires, complete paperwork, and assist other team members as needed
