Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous security or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be capable of passing background checks and security screenings
  • Physically able to assist passengers with wheelchairs

  • Basic knowledge of airport operations

Job Duties

  • Provide security at different areas including bag room, gate, and ramp
  • Ensure all bags have valid stickers and are accounted for
  • Monitor entry to jet bridges and airplanes to prevent unauthorized access
  • Count and scan cleaners with security wand and record relevant arrival and departure times
  • Secure ramp areas and ensure no unauthorized personnel breach airplane perimeter
  • Provide wheelchair services including assisting passengers from assigned doors through customs and baggage claim
  • Maintain constant communication with supervisor on duty
  • Report irregularities to prevent losses and damage
