Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or international equivalent
  • Bilingual language skills required in some locations
  • Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for airport security identification display areas
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to secure airport authority and US Customs security badges if applicable
  • Completion of pre-employment drug screen, background check and fingerprinting
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems preferred
  • Previous face to face customer service experience preferred
  • Experience working in fast paced environments preferred

Job Duties

  • Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets
  • Book, ticket and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform passenger check-in and passenger seat assignment
  • Issue vouchers and coordinate hotel accommodations, meals and transportation
  • Perform passenger boarding including ticket and boarding pass verification
  • Operate gate reader, jetways, and make gate announcements
  • Deliver domestic and international flight documents
  • Perform flight close-out procedures
  • Accept, check and tag passenger baggage
  • Maintain timeline of flight boarding process
  • Conduct customer service training
  • Process credit card baggage transactions and assist passengers with self-service kiosks
  • Assist passengers needing special assistance
  • Respond and assist during security or emergency situations
  • Provide connecting passengers with gate information
  • Adhere to company policies and government regulations
  • Wear uniforms as required by company policy
