Job Requirements
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- able to lift 70 pounds
- minimum 18 years of age
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- pass 10-year criminal history records check
- pass drug screen
- able to work all shifts including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular shifts
- able to work outside in all weather conditions
- frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, climbing up and down stairs
- ability to assist passengers with disabilities including pushing wheelchairs
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of training course
- ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
- effective communication skills
- ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- previous airline experience preferred
- previous employment as a front-line customer service provider preferred
- basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred
Job Duties
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- monitor computerized passenger boarding
- assist customers with special needs including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
- change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
- operate the Jetway
- load and unload baggage and cargo
- operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
- guide and park aircraft
- perform cabin maintenance tasks
- work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
