Job Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED
  • able to lift 70 pounds
  • minimum 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • pass 10-year criminal history records check
  • pass drug screen
  • able to work all shifts including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular shifts
  • able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, climbing up and down stairs
  • ability to assist passengers with disabilities including pushing wheelchairs

Job Qualifications

  • Successful completion of training course
  • ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
  • previous airline experience preferred
  • previous employment as a front-line customer service provider preferred
  • basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
  • monitor computerized passenger boarding
  • assist customers with special needs including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
  • change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
  • operate the Jetway
  • load and unload baggage and cargo
  • operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
  • guide and park aircraft
  • perform cabin maintenance tasks
  • work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
