Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license
- clear driving record
- 10-year criminal history records check
- drug screen as required
- proof of high school or GED completion
- minimum 18 years of age
- ability to lift 70 pounds
- able to work outside in varied weather conditions
- ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, climbing stairs
- ability to assist passengers with disabilities including pushing wheelchairs
Job Qualifications
- successful completion of training course
- ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
- effective communication skills
- ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- previous airline experience preferred
- previous employment as a front-line customer service provider preferred
- basic knowledge of computer applications and programs preferred
Job Duties
- assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- monitor computerized passenger boarding
- assist customers with special needs including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
- change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
- operate the jetway
- load and unload baggage and cargo
- operate motorized service vehicles and equipment
- guide and park aircraft
- perform cabin maintenance tasks
- work together as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
