Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods in indoor/outdoor environments
- Ability to push, pull, reach with arms, grasp with hands
- Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
- Exposure to moderate and high noise levels
- Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms
- Capacity for repetitive motions of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- One year of customer service experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, including documents
- Ability to use electronic devices including iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- Effective communication skills both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal as applicable)
- Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation
Job Duties
- Greet and assist passengers at the airport with check-in, boarding, and general inquiries
- Provide accurate information on flight schedules, gate assignments, and airport services
- Handle passenger check-in and baggage processing efficiently and courteously
- Assist passengers with self-service kiosks and online check-in procedures
- Effectively resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Make announcements and keep passengers informed about flight changes and boarding times
- Handle the boarding process, including verifying travel documents and issuing boarding passes
