Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must successfully complete background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Ability to read, write and speak English and/or Spanish
- Maintain professional relationships with employees and clients
- Must possess effective interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public
- Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Ability to read and understand all operating and airport procedures
- Ability to handle pressure working with high volume general public
- Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass criminal background check to obtain airport ID
Job Qualifications

- Capable of managing high volume public interaction and stress
- Successful completion of background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol testing
- Eligibility for CBP seal and ability to pass a criminal background check for airport ID
Job Duties
- Maintain constant communication with the supervisor on duty
- Review daily manning and assignments
- Provide wheelchair assistance ensuring compliance with security procedures and proper handling of passengers
- Perform security duties at checkpoints including passenger greeting, boarding pass verification, and baggage checks
- Monitor and secure baggage room ensuring all bags have valid stickers and are accounted for
- Provide security at assigned gates by monitoring jet bridges and airplane access, counting and scanning cleaners, and documenting flight details
- Ensure safety on the ramp by overseeing baggage loading, verifying contents, and restricting unauthorized access
- Assist at airline counters by aiding in baggage weighing, tagging, and placement on conveyor belts
- Report any irregularities to prevent losses and damage
