Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 18
  • must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
  • must be able to push or pull 50 pounds
  • must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
  • ability to participate in paid training
  • ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures
  • ability to consistently work flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays
  • no visible tattoos on face, front of neck, or chest
  • tattoos on hands and other visible parts must meet size and appearance restrictions
  • must obtain and maintain airport SIDA badge
  • must pass Department of Transportation regulated drug testing

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of customer service or community service experience
  • exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, and listening
  • typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
  • ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • assist guests with travel needs such as answering inquiries, ticketing, checking in passengers, and boarding flights in a fast-paced environment
  • sell tickets and ensure cabin accommodations
  • perform computer, iPad and paperwork tasks
  • evaluate and prepare flights by arranging seat assignments and load, coordinating special meals and upgrades
  • perform boarding and gate duties such as checking flight tickets, assisting and directing passengers, making announcements, checking aircraft, and confirming cabin security
  • process and secure passenger luggage
  • perform varying duties at management’s direction to ensure guest satisfaction
