Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- No prior cleaning experience required but preferred
- Valid New York State Driver's License required for Porters and Helpers
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Helpers
- Must be able to work full-time 40 hours per week
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Willingness to adhere to safety and operational guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required but cleaning experience is an advantage
- Valid New York State Driver's License required for Porters and Helpers
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Helpers
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work full-time hours
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of transit facilities
- Clean buses and other transit vehicles thoroughly
- Ensure all work areas meet sanitation standards
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with other duties as assigned
