Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in custodial or facility maintenance preferred
- ability to operate custodial tools and equipment
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- ability to adhere to safety protocols
- availability to work flexible hours including part-time and temporary assignments
- ability to travel between campus sites
- valid work authorization
Job Qualifications

- understanding of basic preventive building maintenance

Job Duties
- Perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, waxing floors
- vacuum rugs and carpets in classrooms and offices
- clean and disinfect restrooms and drinking fountains
- dust and polish furniture and woodwork
- move and arrange furniture and equipment for events
- operate custodial equipment such as buffers, vacuum cleaners, scrubbers
- perform minor maintenance like replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains
- lock and unlock doors and set alarms as directed
- maintain security and cleanliness of assigned areas
- maintain records of maintenance and cleaning activities
- provide information and demonstrations to new or substitute employees
- comply with safety rules and regulations
