Job Requirements
- completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- availability to work 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM shift
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to work cooperatively with others
Job Qualifications
- completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- ability to operate cleaning machinery
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness of school facilities including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure hygienic standards
- operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
- assist with setup and teardown of rooms for school events
- comply with all district policies and safety regulations
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient custodial operations
