Job Requirements
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Seasonal, part-time availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive movements such as kneeling, crouching, reaching, and grasping
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Possess a positive attitude
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety regulations
- Ability to maintain cleaning equipment and machinery
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write English
- Follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to interpret directions on cleaning products and equipment
- Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively in stressful situations
- Willingness to take on challenges and responsibility
- Experience with general janitorial duties and cleaning equipment
- Prior work experience in physically demanding environmental services or janitorial roles
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in assigned areas such as exhibits, common areas, and employee break rooms
- Perform janitorial duties following approved departmental cleaning procedures including Covid-19 sanitizing guidelines
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuums, and other general hand tools
- Adhere to occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations
- Comply with employee policies and procedures
- Lift, kneel, crouch, reach, and grasp as part of cleaning duties
- Present oneself professionally reflecting company standards
