Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must wear uniforms provided and personal protective equipment
- must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays when required
- successfully pass continual training, security and employment requirements
- must possess acceptable English language skills including speaking, reading, writing and comprehension
- ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance
- stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl
- must be able to use hands and fingers to type, handle bags, boxes, objects or controls
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift up to 99 pounds with assistance
- vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- sufficient auditory ability to decipher telephone/radio communications and hear alarms including vehicle and other warning signals
- able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 90 decibels
- able and willing to work in inclement weather including extreme cold and warm temperatures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- strong work ethic and able to complete work independently
- knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures
- knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals and solvents
- knowledge of care and maintenance of cleaning equipment
- good interpersonal communication skills
- attention to detail oriented
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures
- dust, clean and polish furniture, doors, windows, partitions, woodwork, light fixtures and other related surfaces
- sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, wax, polish floors and shampoo carpets
- dispose of trash and recyclable materials
- operate power cleaning equipment such as buffer, sweeper and steam cleaning equipment
- perform limited routine maintenance to equipment, buildings and fixtures
- professionally communicate over two-way radio, telephone and email
