Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures accurately
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Good communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize restrooms,classrooms,offices,specified indoor and outdoor spaces using established practices and procedures
- Clean,dust,and wipe furniture
- sweep,mop,or vacuum floors
- empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers
- refill restroom dispensers
- Assist with the setup/cleanup of facilities for meetings,classrooms,conferences,events,etc.
- Clean floors and surfaces using specific cleaning methods and procedures
- Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting agents following safety protocols
- Dust,mop and sweep offices break areas,elevators,restrooms,common areas,or other type of rooms depending on the scope of work
- Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work
