Job Requirements
- Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- reliable attendance
- ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina for standing long periods and lifting heavy items
- good communication skills
- tactfulness in dealing with residents, families and staff
- willingness to adhere to all facility policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work independently and as a team player
- experience with buffing and cleaning facility floors is a plus
- reliable attendance and ability to report to work in inclement weather
- strong communication skills
- tactful interaction with residents, family members, staff and government personnel
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, pull and move heavy equipment and supplies
- minimum 1 year of related experience desired but training provided
Job Duties
- Trash removal
- sweeping
- mopping and waxing/buffing of floors
- vacuuming
- cleaning of rooms upon resident discharge
- in-house delivery of boxes, packages and other items
- cleaning and upkeep of restrooms, resident rooms, community rooms and offices
