Job Requirements
- Be a FUSD employee
- Be a member of SEIU Local 521, FUSD Classified Chapter
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have sufficient training and experience related to custodial duties
- Provide a current resume
- Submit two current letters of support
- Be available for a practicum if required during the interview process
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Prior custodial experience preferred
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform custodial tasks
- Experience with cleaning tools and equipment
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned school facilities and office spaces
- Ensure sanitary and safe environments for students and staff
- Perform cleaning duties in a timely and orderly manner
- Follow health and safety guidelines in custodial work
- Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies inventory
- Support emergency cleaning and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to ensure facility standards
