Job Requirements
- Completion of formal or informal education sufficient for job duties
- valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License meeting district driving standards
- flexibility to work varying seasonal hours and emergency service requests
- ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to noise and chemicals
- physical ability to perform custodial duties
Job Qualifications
- Completion of formal or informal education allowing reading, writing and speaking skills required for job duties
- proficiency with industrial cleaning methods and supplies
- familiarity with occupational hazards and applicable safety standards
- experience providing customer service in medium to large facilities
- attention to detail in task completion and awareness of surroundings
- ability to follow instructions, laws, regulations, and safety standards
- safe and proper operation of tools and equipment
Job Duties
- Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and vacuum floors and carpets
- clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and equipment
- empty refuse and recycle containers
- dust, polish, and wax furniture and fixtures
- clean and polish whiteboards and display boards
- clean facility public areas internal and external including sweeping, blowing and litter/debris collection
- respond to service requests and complaints regarding facility cleanliness
- move furniture and equipment
- perform custodial services for carpet, upholstery, and drapery cleaning
- maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe working order
- report concerns and deficiencies
- support setup and breakdown for campus events
- perform other assigned duties
