Job Requirements
- Three years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work

Job Duties
- Develop and manage daily custodial schedules across academic buildings, residence halls, athletic facilities, and common areas
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with LSUS standards
- Coordinate custodial support for campus events including orientations, commencements, and athletic games, including pre-event setup, on-site support, and post-event cleanup
- Supervise custodial staff across all shifts, ensuring accountability and performance
- Perform regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective action as needed
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate purchasing of cleaning products, tools, and equipment in alignment with budget constraints and sustainability goals
- Serve as custodial lead during emergency situations such as spills, biohazards, and weather-related incidents
- Ensure custodial staff are trained in emergency response protocols and safety procedures
- Utilize the campus Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, track task completion, and monitor performance metrics
