- two years of job related experience
- ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment
- knowledge of safe chemical handling
- ability to respond to service requests
- ability to work night shifts
- ability to pass background check
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED certificate, or vocational school diploma
- two years of related job experience
- skills in delivering housekeeping services including operation of specialized cleaning equipment and use of cleaning supplies
- valid Georgia driver’s license preferred
Job Duties
- perform specialized cleaning operations including spray buffing, burnishing floors, sanitizing trash receptacles, stain removing, window cleaning
- strip and refinish floors
- perform routine housekeeping services including emptying trash receptacles, dusting, spot cleaning, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, medical and food service areas, restocking supplies, dusting, damp or wet mopping, sweeping and vacuuming
- operate and maintain power equipment including carpet vacuums, canister and tank vacuums, wide-area vacuums, backpack vacuums, spot cleaning machines
- maintain housekeeping and storage closets, tools and equipment in clean, orderly condition
- utilize prescribed safety equipment as required
- utilize chemicals and supplies safely and as prescribed
- respond to work requests from building occupants and service request system
- perform other duties as assigned
