Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of relevant custodial experience or training
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license
  • Ability to perform heavy physical work
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and cover staff shortages
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and proper equipment usage
  • Willingness to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months previous experience or training in custodial work
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Ability to operate maintenance and landscaping equipment safely
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use phone applications
  • Strong teamwork and customer service skills
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of park equipment and spaces
  • Remove trash, debris, graffiti, and litter from assigned areas
  • Operate equipment, machinery, and tools for maintaining athletic fields and courts
  • Set up, monitor, and inspect facilities and equipment for safety and repairs
  • Conduct basic repair and maintenance on park structures, irrigation systems, and landscaping
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment, supplies, and materials
  • Stock or distribute supply items as needed
