Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in custodial or housekeeping work preferred
- ability to work scheduled hours including overtime
- pass state civil service examination for custodian classification
- successful completion of live scan background check
- pass pre-employment physical including drug testing
- comply with all state and local health guidelines
- authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- good physical condition for manual labor and standing for extended periods
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- clean and maintain all assigned facility areas including floors, restrooms, and offices
- dispose of waste and replenish supplies in a timely manner
- report maintenance and safety issues to the supervisor
- comply with health and safety policies and procedures
- operate custodial equipment safely and effectively
- support infection control measures by adhering to cleaning protocols
- assist with special cleaning projects and event setups
