Job Requirements
- must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s)
- must understand oral and/or written instructions
- must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members
- must be able to pass organization screening requirements including state or federal background screenings
- must pass drug testing
- ability to travel to various locations
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- willingness to work flexible hours including early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous custodial or janitorial experience is an advantage but not required
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- strong interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals
- willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- safely perform janitorial duties as assigned by management
- provide quality service to customers at all times
- learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to the custodian position
- travel to and from various locations and buildings
- work with cleaning chemicals following safety protocols
- follow emergency operations work assignment per customer requirements
- work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
