Job Duties
- Clean commercial offices and buildings for local government
- clean and supply designated building areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning
- perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities
- carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- stock and maintain supply rooms
- cooperate with the rest of the staff
- follow all health and safety regulations
- collect and dispose regular trash, regulated medical waste, and recycling materials
- replenish hand soap and other supplies as needed
- dust mop floors using standard operating procedure
- wet mop floors with disinfectant, following standard operating procedure
- handle various types of cleaning chemicals in compliance with applicable regulations and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment
- dust all horizontal and vertical surfaces, furniture, spot wash walls, clean and polish fixtures, air vents, handrails, blinds, windows and sills
- maintain consistent attendance
