Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial or janitorial experience
- ability to work overnight shifts
- physical stamina for lifting bending and standing
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- must pass background check and drug screen

Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets sinks and floors and restock supplies as needed
- empty trash cans and recycling bins to regularly ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas such as hallways stairwells and break rooms
- follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for all occupants
- assist with setting up rooms for meetings conferences and events including arranging furniture and equipment
- respond to immediate cleaning needs or spills promptly to prevent accidents and maintain a hazard-free environment
- collaborate with other staff members and maintain effective communication to ensure a coordinated approach to facility maintenance
