Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift regularly up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend or stoop for prolonged periods
- Willingness to work evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to operate snow removal equipment and perform snow shoveling
- Must follow district, state, and federal policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment including power-driven machines
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds
- Understanding of safety procedures and proper chemical handling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and courteous behavior toward students, faculty, and parents
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties as scheduled by the Head Custodian
- Maintain a safe facility and follow safety procedures
- Complete assigned work on a timely basis and with a high level of cleanliness
- Maintain a good attendance record, report to work on time and complete work shift
- Assume specific duties including the good and welfare of the entire facility
- Maintain appropriate personal appearance, including specified uniform and proper footwear
- Take self-initiative to maintain a high level of cleanliness with obvious hazards and clutter
