Job Requirements
- eighth grade education
- subject to pre-employment drug testing
- valid New Mexico Driver's License
- must possess and maintain Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or obtain within 45 days
- ability to lift, push, pull, transfer, or carry up to 50 pounds
- must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Job Qualifications

- experience in janitorial or housekeeping preferred
- knowledge of CDC recommended infection control practices
- ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- good communication skills
- ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and hazardous waste
- valid New Mexico Driver's License

Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning and disinfection of patient, clinic, outdoor, and office areas
- perform terminal cleaning and disinfection
- strip and wax floors
- clean carpets
- wash walls and windows
- replenish bathroom supplies
- remove trash
- perform routine janitorial services
- clean various types of equipment
- handle hazardous waste with proper precautions
- prepare requests to order supplies and equipment
- notify management of safety issues and repair needs
