Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to processing
- Ability to perform light physical effort including standing, walking, and lifting
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills equivalent to a high school curriculum
- Ability to work night shifts
- Must have ordinary conversational skills and courtesy
- Experience in custodial work is desired
- Ability to respond to immediate safety or operational concerns appropriately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Ability to supervise and support custodial personnel
- Knowledge of cleaning solvents and floor care
- Ability to prepare documentation such as schedules and work orders
- Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining campus security
- Training in blood borne pathogens and first aid preferred
Job Duties
- Attends in-service training for new and improved procedures
- Cleans assigned school facilities including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and grounds
- Coordinates scheduled special events, meetings, and stage events ensuring facility and equipment availability
- Supervises and supports assigned personnel to maximize efficiency and assist in performance evaluations
- Greets visitors to maintain campus security
- Inspects facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Prepares facility for daily operations including opening gates and disarming security systems
