Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items over 50 pounds
- Physical stamina and strength for extended walking and heavy lifting
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle hazardous chemicals safely
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to work shifts including early morning or evening hours
- Ability to operate cleaning and warehouse equipment after training
- Good communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitor, custodian, cleaner, or housekeeping position preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull over 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Experience using a tugger
- Physical fitness and strong upper body strength
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to learn operation of golf carts and facility equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and conference rooms
- Walk extensive distances and perform heavy lifting including emptying trash
- Clean outdoor areas such as yard, guard shack, and designated smoking areas
- Remove and bale cardboard
- Move and stack pallets
- Operate forklifts and tuggers
- Perform floor cleaning including floor technology and pressure washing
- Restock restroom supplies and clean fixtures
- Collect, empty, and return garbage bins
- Maintain safe and orderly work area and follow safety policies
- Attend to incidental spills, flooded areas, and other clean-up duties
- Move furniture and vacuum carpets
