Job Requirements
- No education or experience requirements
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently
- and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must have vision capabilities including depth perception, color vision, and field of vision with or without correction
- Must be physically able to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Job Qualifications
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing

- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and maintenance

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store
- Makes an effort to learn customers’ names and to address them by name whenever possible
- Assists customers by escorting them to the products they’re looking for, securing products that are out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests, performing other tasks in every way possible to enhance the shopping experience
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call
- Orders cleaning products as needed
- audits invoices for correctness (where applicable)
- Responsible for total store cleanliness and appearance, inside and out, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, power washing, scrubbing, dusting, shampooing of carpets, sanitizing
- Changes ceiling lights
- Monitors plumbing, fixtures, coolers, and freezers and notifies supervisors as needed
- Installs and replaces towel, paper, and soap dispensers when needed
- Empties the garbage and crushes cardboard
- Assists customers with their needs
- Conducts inventory on products for costs and amounts used every quarter
- Responsible for equipment maintenance
- Unclogs drains where needed
- Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time
